Virginia Bluebird Society

The Virginia Bluebird Society (VBS) was founded in 1999 to promote bluebirds and other native cavity nesters. VBS is affiliated with The North American Bluebird Society (NABS) and is a Chapter of the Virginia Society of Ornithology (VSO).

You Are Invited

You are cordially invited to join the Virginia Bluebird Society. By joining you become a part of a larger effort to ensure that we and our descendents are able to enjoy the sight and sound the bluebird. In addition to personal pleasure, a few of the benefits of membership are listed below.

How To Do It

To join VBS, simply print the APPLICATION, fill it out, and mail it back to VBS along with a check for your membership fee. With your membership fee you may also include a tax deductible donation to support the work of the VBS, or you may also specifically designate a donation for the "Sponsor a Bluebird Box" initiative.

Looking for a gift for a nature lover? How about a VBS membership? Share your enthusiasm for bluebirds and help a great cause at the same time! Simply print out the Gift Membership Application, fill it out, and mail it back to VBS along with a check for the designated amount. The recipient will receive a gift card, an information packet, and the latest newsletter. It's a great way to introduce family and friends to the joys of bluebirding!
